Voewood is one of the great houses of the Arts & Crafts Movement. Built as Voewood it was renamed Home Place and is known as such in the architectural histories. Pevsner describes Voewood as “by far the most interesting building in this part of Norfolk …. reminiscent of Gaudi’s work in Barcelona”. High praise indeed from a critical historian.
